Database Design

This research project focuses on arts organizations and the considerable impact of COVID 19 on their operations and future demands. The COVID 19 forced the arts organizations to shut down their live, in person performances, however most of the arts organizations now are looking forward to resume in person performances for fall 2021 or spring 2022. To gain clarity and insights for future customer demand, various machine learning models and data frameworks are being implemented to forecast the demand upon consideration of key factors influencing the customers. Data of 51 organizations is being used for this research but for the project purpose we are focusing on one art organization.

Scope of the Project:

The scope of the project is to develop a R shiny based web tool for visualizing with the help of lucid charts by utilizing the data gathered from multiple sources like public and private research partnerships. We will be developing visualizations from insights provided by implementing various ec3onometrics model.

The project will also analyze the impact of supply and demand factors on ticket sales, trends/insights from the research on the art organization.
